Terms & Conditions
By making a booking with LAGAD, customers agree to abide by our terms and conditions as laid out on this site.
Any statutory rights remain unaffected under English law. In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000, consumers have the right to withdraw from this transaction under the provision of a cooling off period of seven working days, starting from when the booking is made. After that period we will refund to the sum of 75% of the total booking if notice of cancellation is received in writing (email permitted) more than 14 days before the start of the course. If notice of cancellation is received within 14 days before the start of the course, the customer does not qualify for a refund of any amount.
LAGAD reserves the right to reject any booking and all bookings are only accepted at our sole discretion. Payment for every order will be via the website or cheque and form. Refunds will be processed by the original payment method when the booking was made. The amount of refund will be made in accordance with the amount paid. So where any promotional or discount value was used for the original booking, it is this discounted amount that will be refunded, not the full value of the booking.
Unless solely due to the negligence of LAGAD, we cannot be held liable for any losses suffered as a consequence of fraud. Likewise, unless due to negligence on the part of LAGAD, we cannot be held liable for any loss or injury to person that occurs during the course.
If at the sole discretion of LAGAD a child attending a course is behaving in such a way so as to pose a threat to the safety and wellbeing, including emotional wellbeing of him or to others, LAGAD reserves the right to not accept the child on the course. In such cases no refund will be offered. In most cases LAGAD will notify the parent customer by way of warning, prior to this decision being made.
